Who Am I?

Hi there! My name’s Matheus, but you can call me Matt!

I’m a multilingual educator and the founder of Ludens: Learning Voyage. My Journey through the worlds of history, technology and languages led me to a single, clear vocation: enriching the human mind and deepening human connection.

As a self-taught polyglot, I know the path to fluency intimately—the frustration and the thrill. My method is born from this experience, validated by years of teaching and elite-level certifications (DALF, TOEFL). I understand the journey because I’ve walked it myself.

I created Ludens to transform learning into a joyful, fulfilling experience in the ways that I can. My approach blends the insights of modern science with the art of human connection. We use the art and the culture you love—from cinema to music to videogames—to break down your barriers and build your confidence.   • Your Personalized Plan: Together, we will design your unique learning roadmap. We'll map out your long-term goals and design a journey that uses your passions as the fuel for your progress.

  • Taking The First Steps: With our map in hand, we schedule your first session and begin the real work. This is the moment we start your transformation into a confident, fluent speaker who can truly experience life in a new language.
